Report Viewers (permission group)

Report Viewers are the human consumers of an AgilePoint NX app. Generally, these are the users who can view the application data for a specified app. Access to specific eForms in an app is defined as the participants for a task. However, after an app is published, you can configure participants as Report Viewers to access the eForms to view the app data.

Prerequisites

On the Tenant screen screen, set Enable Application-Level Permissions to Yes.

Good to Know

The Report Viewers permission group for App Builder is different from the Report Viewer role for Analytics Center that can be assigned as an access right.

This screen may look different in different places. The UI varies for this screen depending upon how you open it. However, the fields for this screen are the same in all places.

An AgilePoint NX tenant can have Report Viewers assigned at both the global level and assigned to individual apps.

How to Start

Permission Groups for All Apps (Manage Center)

Click Manage.
In Manage Center, click App Management > Permissions.
On the Permissions screen, click App Permissions.
On the App Permissions screen, select an app.
Click the Report Viewers tab.

Permission Groups for Specific Apps (App Builder)

Click App Builder.
On the App Builder Home screen, click All Apps.
On the All Apps screen, on an app, click Edit .
On the App Details screen, click Permissions .
On the Permission Groups For This App screen, click the Report Viewers tab.

Configures the Report Viewers permission group.

Fields

Field Name	Definition
Back	Function: Goes to the previous screen.
Search	Function: Does a search based on the process model name.
Add Members	Opens this Screen: Available Members screen Function: Adds the specified users or groups to the Report Viewers permission group.
Model Name	Description: Shows the name of the process model associated with the process. Allowed Values: Read only.
Created By	Description: Shows the user or group who made the process model. Allowed Values: Read only.
Current Members	Description: Shows the users or groups who are Report Viewers. Allowed Values: Read only. To Open this Field: Click Expand .
Type	Description: Shows the types of members in the Report Viewers permission group. Allowed Values: Read only. To Open this Field: Click Expand .
Delete	Function: Deletes the specified user or group in the Report Viewers permission group. To Open this Field: Click Expand .

Adds members to a permission group.

Audit Log tab

Shows the audit log for permission groups for all apps.

Prerequisites

AgilePoint NX OnDemand (public cloud), or AgilePoint NX PrivateCloud or AgilePoint NX OnPremises v9.0 or higher.
