Configure the Users Info activity

To configure the Users Info activity, do the procedure in this topic.

How to Start

  1. Open Process Builder.

    Open Process Builder
  2. In Process Builder, in the Activity Library, open the Slack tab.

  3. On the Slack tab, drag the Users Info activity onto your process.

Use Bot Access Token

Description:
Specifies whether to use a bot access token that connects to your Slack service.
Allowed Values:
  • Selected - Uses a bot access token to connect to your Slack service.
  • Deselected - Uses a Slack application or custom integration access token to connect to your Slack service.

User Name

Description:
Specifies the name of the user or the process data variable that contains the user ID or user name.
Allowed Values:
A user name from the list.

User Properties - Property Name

Description:
Shows a list of user properties.
Allowed Values:
The default list of user properties.

Selected Properties - Property Name

Description:
Specifies the user property for the selected user.
Allowed Values:
Read only.

Selected Properties - Variable

Description:
The process data variable to store user properties.
Allowed Values:
  • One line of text that can have spaces.
  • A process data variable.

    You can use App Data screen to specify a process data variable.
