Send Email (Twilio SendGrid) activity

An activity that sends an email in Twilio SendGrid.

Configure the Send Email activity

Prerequisites

AgilePoint NX OnDemand (public cloud), or AgilePoint NX PrivateCloud or AgilePoint NX OnPremises v8.0 Software Update 2 or higher.

To send an email notification, click Advanced > Email Notifications .

How to Start

Open Process Builder.
For information about how to open this screen, refer to Process Builder.
In Process Builder, in the Activity Library, open the Twilio SendGrid tab.
On the Twilio SendGrid tab, drag the Send Email activity onto your process.

Send Email Configuration

Specifies the information to send an email in Twilio SendGrid.

Twilio SendGrid	Description: Specifies the access token that connects to your Twilio SendGrid service. Allowed Values: A list of access tokens configured for your environment. Default Value: None
Create	Opens this Screen: Access Token for Twilio SendGrid Function of this Screen: Configure an access token to connect to Twilio SendGrid.
Subject	Description: Specifies the subject line for your email. Allowed Values: One line of text (a string) that can have letters, numbers, spaces, and special characters. Default Value: None Accepts Variables: Yes
Body Content Type	Description: Specifies the format to use to send the email to the recipients from Twilio SendGrid. Allowed Values: Plain Text - Sends the email as plain text. HTML - Sends the email in HTML format. Default Value: Plain Text
Body	Description: Specifies the content of your email. To Open this Field: On the Send Email Configuration screen, select Plain Text. Allowed Values: More than one line of text. Format: Plain text Default Value: None Accepts Variables: Yes
Body	Description: Specifies the content of your email. To Open this Field: On the Send Email Configuration screen, select HTML. Allowed Values: More than one line of text. Format: HTML Default Value: None Accepts Variables: Yes
From	Description: Specifies the email address of the verified sender to use to send the email. The email address specified in this field must be a verified sender in your Twilio SendGrid environment. Allowed Values: One line of text (a string) in email address format. Default Value: None Accepts Variables: Yes
To	Description: Specifies the recipients for your email. Allowed Values: A list of email addresses, separated by semicolons (;). Default Value: None Accepts Variables: Yes
Cc	Description: Specifies the recipients to carbon copy on your email. Allowed Values: A list of email addresses, separated by semicolons (;). Default Value: None Accepts Variables: Yes
Bcc	Description: Specifies the users to receive a blind carbon copy of your email. Allowed Values: A list of email addresses, separated by semicolons (;). Default Value: None Accepts Variables: Yes
Attach File From Document Repository	Description: Specifies whether to add a file as an attachment to the email from a data source. Allowed Values: Selected - Opens the Source Repository screen to configure a file attachment to the email. Deselected - Sends the email without an attachment. Default Value: Deselected

Source Repository

Specifies the original, or source, location type for your attachment files.
