Enabled Authentications

Description:
Shows the active authentication types in the AgilePoint NX environment.

You can enable more than one account of the same third-party service, such as Microsoft 365 or Salesforce.

Allowed Values:
  • Primary - Shows the main authentication types on the AgilePoint NX environment.
  • Make Primary - Makes the selected authentication primary for the AgilePoint NX environment.

Supported Authentications

Description:
Shows the authentication types the AgilePoint NX environment can use.

The authentication types can change based on the AgilePoint NX configuration.

For information about configuring the authentication providers, refer to Authentication.

Allowed Values:

These authentication types are available in AgilePoint NX OnDemand, AgilePoint NX PrivateCloud, or AgilePoint NX OnPremises:

  • AgilePoint ID
  • Salesforce
  • MS Azure Active Directory
  • Microsoft 365 SharePoint Online
  • Google Workspace

These authentication types are available in AgilePoint NX PrivateCloud or AgilePoint NX OnPremises only:

  • ADFS
  • Amazon Cognito
  • CA SiteMinder
  • IdentityServer
  • Okta
  • PingFederate
Limitations:

Auto Signup - Synchronize User Profile On First Successful Sign-In

Description:
Synchronizes users in your AgilePoint NX environment with a third-party service, such as Microsoft Azure Active Directory, Salesforce, or Google.

Synchronization is a one-way process. Data flows from the external service to the AgilePoint user database. Users you add to AgilePoint are not added to the third-party service.

Allowed Values:
  • On - synchronizes the users with your AgilePoint NX environment.
  • Off - Does not synchronize the users with your AgilePoint NX environment.
Default Value:
On

Auto Signup - Sync User Email IDs

Description:
Synchronizes users email ID in your AgilePoint NX environment with a third-party service, such as Microsoft Azure Active Directory, Salesforce, or Google.

Synchronization is a one-way process. Data flows from the external service to the AgilePoint user database. The users email ID you add to AgilePoint are not added to the third-party service.

Allowed Values:
  • On - synchronizes the users email ID with your AgilePoint NX environment.
  • Off - Does not synchronize the users email ID with your AgilePoint NX environment.
Default Value:
On
