Groups

A group is a set of members with common access right settings that are managed together.

A group is usually related to a feature of the organization. For example, a group may include all employees at a work site, or all business analysts in the company.

Description:
Specifies the name of your group.

The value of this field is used for the My Group and My Group Peers view in the Work Center.

Description:
A description of the group.
Allowed Values:
More than one line of text.

None

Group Lead

Description:
Shows the name of the manager or head of the organizational unit for the group.
Allowed Values:
A group lead name from the list.

Function:
Does a search for users to add to the group.

Read only.

Description:
Shows the types of members in the group.

Search Roles

Description:
Lets you find the specified role.
Allowed Values:
A role name.
Default Value:

Select All

Description:
Selects all the roles listed on the Configure Access Rights tab.
Allowed Values:
  • Selected - Selects all the roles on the Configure Access Rights tab.
  • Deselected - Only the specified roles are selected.
Default Value:
Deselected

Role List

Description:
Shows the list of roles you can select to apply to the group.
Allowed Values:
If a role is selected, it is applied to the group.
Default Value:

Access Rights

Description:
Shows the access rights associated with all the active roles for the group.
Allowed Values:
Read only.

View All Access Rights

Function:
Shows all access rights associated with all the roles in the tenant.

View Assigned Access Rights

Function:
Shows the access rights associated with the roles assigned to the group.

Collapse All

Description:
Closes the access right list and shows only the tabs.

Expand All

Description:
Shows the access right list.
