Process Migration screen

Shows the process migration configuration suggested by the AgilePoint system based on an automated analysis of your process versions. Review the suggested migration, and change the target activities you want to map from the current process version if necessary.

Prerequisites

How to Start

  1. In the Manage Center, click Runtime Management Runtime Management icon > Processes.
  2. On the Processes screen, click Expand Expand icon for your process.
  3. On the process detail screen, click Migrate Migrate icon
  4. On the Migrate Process Model to a Different Version screen, click Ok.

Fields

Field Name Definition

Migrate to process model version
Function:
Specifies the target process model version.
Accepted Values:
A list of the version numbers for your process.
Default Value:
None

View
Function:
Lets you see the process migration details.
Accepted Values:
  • All - Shows all the activities from your process version and the target process version.
  • New - Shows the new activity added to the target process version.
  • Deleted - Shows the activity deleted from the current process version.
  • All Differences - Shows the differences between current process version and target process version.
Default Value:
All

Activity in Current Process Version
Opens this Screen:
Shows the name of the activity in the current process version.
Accepted Values:
Read only.

Mapping
Opens this Screen:
Shows the status of mapping between current process version and target process version.
Accepted Values:
Read only.

Activity in Target Process Version
Opens this Screen:
Specifies the name of the activity in the target process version.
Accepted Values:
A list of activity names in the target process version.

Confirm Migrate
Function:
Changes the process to the new process model version.

Save Instruction File Save Instruction File icon
Function:
Saves an XML file that contains instructions to do a bulk migration. This instruction file is must be used in an APADM command to complete the migration, either by the AgilePoint System User (AgilePoint NX OnPremises) or AgilePoint Customer Support (AgilePoint NX OnDemand).

Maximize Maximize icon
Opens this Screen:
Show the process at its maximum size.
