How to Start

  1. On the Entities screen, click an entity.
  2. On the Person entity, click the Relationship tab.

Opens this Screen:
Navigate To Entity screen.
Function of this Screen:
Shows the list of AgilePoint NX entities. You can click the entity names to see or configure the entity.

Add Relationship Add Relationship icon

Opens this Screen:
New Relationship screen.

Creates a relationship between 2 entities

Downloads an entity template from AgilePoint NX Data Entities to your local machine as an XML file or JSON file.

Import Data

Opens this Screen:
Import Data screen.
To Open this Field:

Uploads a collection of exported records from your local machine, and adds it to an entity in AgilePoint NX Data Entities.

Relationship Name

Function:
Shows the display name for the relationship.
Accepted Values:
Read only.

Parent Entity

Function:
Shows the entity with which you created a relationship.
Accepted Values:
Read only.

Related Field

Function:
Shows the entity field with which you created a relationship.
Accepted Values:
Read only.

Dependent Field

Function:
Shows the dependent field for an entity that is a child of this entity.
Accepted Values:
One line of text that can have spaces.
Default Value:
None

Actions

Function:
Specifies the type of action for the relationship to do.
Accepted Values:
  • Delete Delete icon - Deletes a relationship.
Default Value:
None
