How to Start

On the Application Explorer screen, do one of these:
- Open a Process.
- Create a Process.
Do one of these:
- Add an activity:
  1. In the Process Builder, in the Activity Library, open the Slack tab.
  2. On the Slack tab, drag the Post Chat Message activity onto your process.
- Change an activity:
  1. In your process, double-click your activity.

As User	Function: Specifies who the message is from. Accepted Values: Selected - Sends the message from the user who created the token. Deselected - Sends the message from a bot. The image icon comes from your custom integration or Slack application. Default Value: Deselected
User Name	Function: Specifies your bot user name or the custom name to send a message with this name. To Open this Field: Deselect As User. Accepted Values: A valid bot user name or your custom name. Default Value: None Accepts Process Data Variables: Yes
