This topic shows how to clone an app.

Creates a new application clone.

How to Start

  1. Sign in to AgilePoint NX.
  2. Click Build Apps Build Apps icon.

  3. On the Application Explorer, select your process-based app.
  4. Click Clone App Clone App icon.

Fields

Field Name Definition

Selected Application Name

Function:
Shows the name of the selected application to clone.
Accepted Values:
Read only.
Default Value:
The name of your application.

New Application Name

Function:
Specifies a name for your application clone.
Accepted Values:
One line of text that can have spaces.
Default Value:
None

Choose Application Details to Clone

Function:
Specifies the application clone details to clone.

Some application resource are mandatory to create the application clone. For others, you may need to configure the application resource again if you do not select to clone it.

Accepted Values:
  • Selected - Specifies to clone the resource to the new application.
  • Deselected - Specifies to not clone the resource to the new application.

Selected

Good to Know

  • You must assign a new name for the process models because you can not have more than one process model with the same name.

Field Name Definition

Content Type

Function:
Shows the type of application resource.
Accepted Values:
Read only.
Default Value:
The type of content.

Existing Name

Function:
Shows the name of a resource that exists in the application.
Accepted Values:
Read only.
Default Value:
The name of a resource.

New Name

Function:
Specifies the new name of the resource in the new application.

You must assign a new name for the process models because you can not have more than one process model with the same name.

Accepted Values:
One line of text that can have spaces.
Default Value:
None
