My Apps screen (Modern, SharePoint On-Premises)

Shows the apps you can start in Modern Work Center.

My Apps screen

Shows a list of apps that are published for your use. You can click any app name to start a new instance in SharePoint on-premises.

Function:
Does a search of your published apps.

Group By Category
Function:
Specifies whether to organize the published apps in a category.
Allowed Values:
  • On - Groups the published apps by their categories.
  • Off - Shows the published apps in alphabetical order.

Grid View
Description:
Specifies whether to show the apps in a grid view.
Allowed Values:
  • On - Shows the apps in a grid view.
  • Off - Shows the apps in a card view.

Filter Filter icon

Filters the apps to show on the My Apps screen.

Save Custom View Custom View icon
Opens this Screen:
Save Custom View screen
Function:
Creates a custom view for the apps in Modern Work Center.

Frequently Used Apps / Starred Apps / My Apps
Description:
Specifies whether to show the most used published apps, starred apps, or all published apps.
Allowed Values:
  • Frequently Used Apps - Shows the most used published apps.
  • Starred Apps - Shows the starred apps.
  • My Apps - Shows all published apps.

Description:

  • Selected - Shows process-based apps.
  • Deselected - Hides process-based apps.

Description:
Specifies whether form-based apps show on the My Apps screen.
Allowed Values:
  • Selected - Shows form-based apps.
  • De-Selected - Hides form-based apps.

Description:
Specifies the categories for the apps to show on the My Apps screen.
Allowed Values:
One or more categories from the list.

Description:
Specifies the apps to show on the My Apps screen.
Allowed Values:
One or more apps from the list.

Sort By
Function:
Specifies how to sort the apps.
Allowed Values:
  • Alphabetical - Sorts the apps in alphabetical order.
  • Release Date - Sorts the apps by release date.

Sort Order
Description:
Specifies the sort order the apps show on the My Apps screen.
Allowed Values:
  • Ascending - Sorts the apps in ascending order.
  • Descending - Sorts the apps in descending order.

Release Date
Description:
Specifies the duration in days to filter the apps to show on the My Apps screen.
Allowed Values:
  • Today - Shows the apps that were published on the present day.
  • Last 7 Days - Shows the apps that were published in the last 7 days.
  • Last 15 Days - Shows the apps that were published in the last 15 days.
  • Last 30 Days - Shows the apps that were published in the last 30 days.
  • In The Last _ Days - Shows the apps that were published for the days specified in the Since Last Number of Days field.
  • Between - Shows the apps that were published between the specified start and end date.

Since Last Number of Days
Description:
Specifies the duration in days to filter the apps so that the My Apps screen shows the apps that were published in the specified number of days up to the present day.
To Open this Field:
  1. On the Filters screen, in the Release Date field, select In The Last _ Days.
Allowed Values:
An integer.
Default Value:
None

From
Description:
Specifies the start date to search the apps that are published in the range of dates to show on the My Apps screen.
To Open this Field:
  1. On the Filters screen, in the Release Date field, select Between.
Allowed Values:
A date from the calendar.
Default Value:
None

To
Description:
Specifies the end date to search the apps that are published in the range of dates to show on the My Apps screen.
To Open this Field:
  1. On the Filters screen, in the Release Date field, select Between.

A date from the calendar.

Save Custom View screen

Creates a custom view for the apps in Modern Work Center.

Description:
Specifies the name that shows for the custom view on the App Views tab.
Allowed Values:
One line of text (a string).

Accepted:

  • Letters
  • Numbers
  • Spaces
  • Special characters

Show View For These Groups
Function:
Specifies a list of groups to whom to show the custom view on the App Views tab.

This setting can also be used to limit access to the custom view that do not apply to the groups in Modern Work Center.

Allowed Values:
One or more group names from the list.
Default Value:
None

Show Filters
Function:
Specifies whether to show the Filters option on the custom view so that you can specify a condition to filter the apps.
Allowed Values:
  • On - Shows the Filters option on the custom view to filter the apps.
  • Off - Hides the Filters option on the custom view.

Show View Only In Page Builder Widget
Function:
Specifies whether to show the custom view only on the Work Center (Modern) widget in Page Builder.
Allowed Values:
  • On - The custom view shows only in the Work Center (Modern) widget in Page Builder. It does not show in Modern Work Center.

    For more information, refer to Work Center (Modern) Widget screen.

  • Off - The custom view shows in both the Work Center (Modern) widget and Modern Work Center.

Description:
Specifies whether the custom view can be used on the App Views tab in Modern Work Center and the Work Center (Modern) widget in Page Builder.
Allowed Values:
  • On - The custom view can be used in Modern Work Center and Page Builder.
  • Off - Hides the custom view in Modern Work Center and Page Builder, and it can not be used.

Show Frequently Used Apps
Function:
Specifies whether to show the Frequently Used Apps tab on the custom view so that you can view the most used published apps.
Allowed Values:
  • On - Shows the Frequently Used Apps tab on the custom view.
  • Off - Hides the Frequently Used Apps tab on the custom view.

Function:
Specifies whether to show the Starred Apps tab on the custom view so that you can view the starred apps.
