Import an Entity Template to AgilePoint NX Data Entity

Prerequisites

• On the New Entity screen or Entity screen > Details tab, turn on Allow Entity Model Import.
• Download an entity template.

  For more information, refer to Export an Entity Template from AgilePoint NX Data Entity.

• AgilePoint NX OnDemand (public cloud), or AgilePoint NX PrivateCloud or AgilePoint NX OnPremises v7.0 or higher.

Good to Know

How to Start

1. Click Data Entities.

   
   
   

2. On the Data Entities Home screen, click Entities.

   
   
   

3. On the Entities screen, on the right side of the screen, click Ellipses (...) > Import Template.

   
   
   

1. On the Import Template screen, click Select A File.

   
   
   

2. Select an exported Microsoft Excel, XML, or JSON file from the local machine that contains entity template to import.

   
   
   

3. Click Import.
