App Or Process Sort By Release Date

Function:
Specifies to sort the apps or process models in release date on the My Apps page in the Work Center.
Accepted Values:
  • On - Sorts the app and process model by release date.
  • Off - Does not sort the app and process model by release date.

Group By Apps

Function:
Specifies whether to organize the apps in a group.
Accepted Values:
  • Yes - Organize the apps in a group.
  • No - Does not organize the apps in a group.

Enable Pagination for Apps And Processes

Function:
Specifies whether to show the apps or processes on more than one page.
Accepted Values:
  • Yes - Shows the results on more than one page.
  • No - Shows one page of results.

Show Tasks For Dynamic Groups or Roles

Function:
Specifies if the Dashboard shows tasks for dynamic groups or roles.
Accepted Values:
  • Yes - Shows dynamic groups or roles task.
  • No - Does not show dynamic groups or roles task.

Clicking A Task Link Opens The Task

Function:
Specifies whether to open a task form when the user clicks the task name.
Accepted Values:
  • Yes - Opens the task form.
  • No - Does not open the task form.

Show Overdue Tasks In Color

Function:
Specifies if the AgilePoint NX Dashboard shows Overdue tasks in a different color.
Accepted Values:
  • Yes - Shows the overdue task in color.
  • No - Does not show the overdue task in color.

You can specify the color for Overdue tasks only if Show over due tasks in color is set to Yes.

Default Value:

Show Pool Tasks In Color

Function:
Specifies if the task lists show tasks assigned to a participant pool in a different color than tasks assigned to one participant.
Accepted Values:
  • True - Shows pool tasks and tasks assigned to a single participant in different colors.
  • False - Show the pool tasks and tasks assigned to one participant in the same color.

You can specify the color for pool tasks only if Show pool task in color is set to Yes.

Default Value:

Show Activity Name In Task List

Function:
Specifies whether to show the activity display name or the form name.
Accepted Values:
  • Yes - Shows the activity display name.
  • No - Shows the form name.
Default Value:
No

Open Process Viewer in New Window

Function:
Specifies whether to show the process in the Process Viewer in a new window.
Accepted Values:
  • Yes - Shows the process in new window or tab.
  • No - Shows the process in a pop-up, or overlay.
Default Value:
No

Default Zoom for Process Viewer

Function:
Specifies the default zoom setting for the Process Viewer.
Accepted Values:
An integer from 1-100 that represents a percentage.
Default Value:
100

Show High Priority Tasks On Top

Function:
Specifies whether to show the high priority tasks first on the My Tasks tab in the Work Center.
Accepted Values:
  • Yes - Shows the high priority tasks first on the My Tasks tab.
  • No - Does not show the high priority task first on the My Tasks tab.
Default Value:
No

Show User Statistics

Function:
Specifies whether to show the User Statistics tab in the Work Center.
Accepted Values:
  • On - Shows the User Statistics tab.
  • Off - Does not show the User Statistics tab.

Open task in new window

Function:
Specifies whether tasks open in a new browser window or tab, or the same window or tab.
Accepted Values:
  • Yes - Tasks open in a new window or tab.
  • No - Tasks open in the same window or tab.

Users Can Choose Between Modern (Beta) And Classic Work Center

Function:
Specifies whether the option shows in Work Center to change the view between Classic and Modern.
Accepted Values:
  • On - Users can change the Work Center view between Modern and Classic.

  • Task Name - Specifies a different label for the Task Name column on the task and process tabs.
  • Process Model Name - Specifies a different name for the Process column on the task and process tabs.
  • Status - Specifies a different name for the Status column on the task and process tabs.
  • Due Date - Specifies a different name for the Due Date column on the task tabs.

Internal Name

Function:
Specifies a unique, technical name for the custom tab.

When you click this field, the field shows the value you entered in Display Name field with no spaces. You can also specify a custom internal name. After you create the Internal Name, you can not change it.

Process Filters

Function:
Specifies a list of process models to filter the tasks and process instances to show on your custom tab.

If this field does not have a configured value, the custom tab shows a list of tasks and processes from all process models.

Tab Extension

Function:

Hide Default Columns

Function:
Specifies a list of standard columns that to hide on your custom tab.

When you select the standard tab from the Tab Extension field, this field shows a list of standard column names associated with the specified standard tab.

One or more standard column names from the list.

Enable Dynamic Loading

Function:
Specifies whether the filter and sort options are used in a custom column when you create in your custom tab.

For tasks that use dynamic settings, such as the eForm Dynamic Task Pool activity, sorting and filtering can cause long load times in Work Center. In most cases, it is recommended to disable dynamic loading in custom columns because it is difficult to predict when this issue might occur due to a setting in an app. However, dynamic sorting and filtering is supported.

To Open this Field:
  1. On the Work Center: Custom Tabs Configuration section, click Add Custom Tabs Add Custom Tabs icon.
Accepted Values:
  • Selected - The filter and sort options are not used in custom columns, even if they are configured.

    This setting is recommended for most users.

  • Deselected - The filter and sort options are used in custom columns when they are configured.

The settings are the reverse of how the field label is stated.

Function:
Specifies whether the custom tab shows as a default view when you open the Dashboard.

Custom Data Path

Function:
Specifies the Xpath of a process data variable. The value of this variable shows in the custom column.

Accepted Values:
An Xpath in your process schema.

Custom Template

Function:
An HTML code snippet that specifies how to show the value for the Custom Data Path field in your custom column.
To Open this Field:
  1. On the Work Center: Custom Tabs Configuration section, click Add Custom Tabs Add Custom Tabs icon.
  2. Click Add New Record.
Accepted Values:
One line of text (a string) that represents an HTML code snippet in this format:

<p>#=this.value#</p>

  • You can use any HTML tag in the template value, but it must include the string, #=this.value#. The string #=this.value# represents the value from the Custom Data Path field. If this string is not present, no value will display in the column.
  • You can use a custom CSS snippet or JavaScript snippet on the HTML tag to customize the way the value in the column displays.
  • You can not use a variable from an AgilePoint NX app in the HTML or JavaScript code.

These code samples show how you can write the HTML code to design the column value:
  • <a href="https://mysite.com/">#=this.value#</a> - Opens the configured URL when you click the column value.

Work Center > External Form Settings tab

Lets you save a base URL of an external form to open as a task for your process in the My Task tab in Classic Work Center.

Extension

Function:
Specifies whether the URL of an external form shows in the browser at runtime with a file name extension.

  • PHP - Shows the form file name with the extension .php.
  • JSP - Shows the form file name with the extension .jsp.
  • No Extension - Shows the form file name with no extension.

Reset

Function:
Restores the default setting for the external form base URL.

Lets you add external links to the Dashboard in Classic Work Center.
