I Can Not Access AgilePoint NX from My Company's Network

Symptoms

  • After installing AgilePoint NX you can access AgilePoint from an Internet connection, such as a mobile device, but you cannot access it from an internal company network.

Cause

Your organization's firewall is blocking one or more ports for the AgilePoint NX system.

Resolution

  1. Create firewall rules to allow access to these AgilePoint NX components.

    Description:
    A free, unique port AgilePoint Server instance can use for WSHttp binding.

    This field is required.

    Allowed Values:
    A port number on your machine for WSHttp binding.

    The port number must be unique (not used for any other purpose) and higher than 10000.

    Description:
    A free, unique port AgilePoint Server instance can use for TCP binding.

    This field is required.

    Allowed Values:
    A port number on your machine for TCP binding.

    The port number must be unique (not used for any other purpose) and higher than 10000.

    BasicHttp Port
    Description:
    A free, unique port AgilePoint Server instance can use for BasicHttp binding.

    This field is required.

    Allowed Values:
    A port number on your machine for BasicHttp binding.

    The port number must be unique (not used for any other purpose) and higher than 10000.

    REST Port
    Description:
    A free, unique port AgilePoint Server instance can use for REST API calls.
    Allowed Values:
    A port number on your machine for REST API calls.

    Limitations:

    If you use AgilePoint NX OnPremises, the REST URL for your AgilePoint Server instance must be configured to use the default HTTPS port number 443 to associate AgilePoint workflows with SharePoint lists and libraries in the AgilePoint Intelligent Process Automation app for Microsoft 365. When AgilePoint NX OnPremises is installed, the default REST port is 13490. However, the endpoint for the Intelligent Process Automation app must be accessible through the default port number used for HTTPS communication by Microsoft 365.

    Description:
    A free, unique port AgilePoint Server instance can use for connection of client (end user) web browsers to the AgilePoint NX Portal.
    Allowed Values:
    A port number on your machine for AgilePoint NX Portal.
    Default Value:
    13491

    Analytics Center
    Description:
    A free, unique port AgilePoint Server instance can use for connection to the Analytics Center component.
    Allowed Values:
    A port number on your machine for Analytics Center.

    This port requires access for all of your users who use reports in AgilePoint NX.
