How to Start

  1. Click Settings.

General tab

Configures the basic settings for the AgilePoint NX Mobile App.

Show Delegations
Description:
Specifies whether to show the Delegations tab in the AgilePoint NX Mobile App.
Allowed Values:
  • On - Shows the Delegations tab.
  • Off - Does not show the Delegations tab.

Show External Apps
Description:
Specifies whether to show the External Apps tab in the AgilePoint NX Mobile App.
Allowed Values:
  • On - Shows the External Apps tab.
  • Off - Hides the External Apps tab.
Default Value:
Off

Maximum Number Of Frequently Used Apps
Description:
Specifies the maximum number of published apps to show in the Frequently Used Apps widget on the Home screen in the AgilePoint NX Mobile App.
Allowed Values:
An integer.

Range:

  • 1-999
Default Value:
5

Show Process Name On App Tile
Function:
Specifies whether the My Apps screen shows the process instance name on the app tile.
Allowed Values:
  • On - The App tile shows both the app name and the process instance name on the My Apps screen.
  • Off - The App tile shows only the app name on the My Apps screen.
Default Value:
On

Show Task Planner
Function:
Specifies whether the Sidebar Menu shows the My Planned Tasks tab in the AgilePoint NX Mobile App.

This screen lets the runtime app user add tasks or appointments to the planner.

Allowed Values:
  • On - Shows the My Planned Tasks tab on the Sidebar Menu, and the runtime app user can add tasks or appointments to the planner.
  • Off - The Sidebar Menu does not show the My Planned Tasks tab, and the runtime app user can not add tasks or appointments to the planner.

Show Watchlist
Function:
Specifies whether the Sidebar Menu shows the Watchlist tab in the AgilePoint NX Mobile App.

This screen lets the runtime app user add the running processes to the watchlist.

Allowed Values:
  • On - Shows the Watchlist tab on the Sidebar Menu, and the user can add the running processes to the watchlist.
  • Off - The Sidebar Menu does not show the Watchlist tab, and the user can not add the running processes to the watchlist.
Default Value:
On

Maximum Items To Retrieve
Description:
Specifies the number of items to show on the task list and process list in the AgilePoint NX Mobile App.
Allowed Values:
An integer.

Range:

  • 1-999
Default Value:
100

Hide Task Actions
Description:
Specifies a list of task actions to hide on the Task Detail screen.
Allowed Values:
One or more task action names from the list.
Default Value:
None

Reset
Description:
Configures the AgilePoint NX Mobile App to use the default settings.

Save
Function:
Saves the changes to the AgilePoint NX Mobile App configuration.

Description:
Lets users enable eForms. If this option is enabled, it creates a shared variable with the connection URL for mobile devices.
Allowed Values:
  • On - Creates an eForms base URL in shared variables for mobile devices.
  • Off - Disables eForms access for mobile devices.

Enable Offline Mobile eForms
Description:
Specifies whether the runtime app user can use offline mobile eForms in the AgilePoint NX Mobile App.

Limitations:

If a mobile app user has an lower version of the AgilePoint NX Mobile App installed, and the Enable Offline Mobile eForms field is turned off, and then they upgrade the app to version 3.0 or higher, it has these effects:

  • The download icon for eForms.
  • All eForms that were downloaded are deleted.
  • If the runtime app user is signed out from the mobile app, they can not sign in to the mobile app with no Internet connection.

Allow Mobile Devices To Remember Credentials
Description:
Specifies whether to store the user name and password for the AgilePoint NX account in the AgilePoint NX Mobile App.
Allowed Values:
  • On - Stores the user name and password in the AgilePoint NX Mobile App and the Sign In screen shows the user name and password on the respective fields, so runtime app users do not need to enter the account credentials again to sign in.

    The AgilePoint NX Mobile App stores the account credentials only for these types of authentication:

    • AgilePoint ID
    • Active Directory

    The AgilePoint NX Mobile App does not store the account credentials for third-party authentication services, such as Salesforce or MS Azure Active Directory.

  • Off - The AgilePoint NX Mobile App does not store the user name and password. The Sign In screen shows the User Name and Password fields blank, and runtime app users must enter the account credentials each time they sign in.

Allow Mobile Users To Configure App
Description:
Specifies whether the Settings screen shows the Use QR Code To Configure App Settings field in the AgilePoint NX Mobile App. This screen lets the runtime app user configure the mobile app with either the Settings screen or a QR code.
Allowed Values:
  • On - The Settings screen shows the Use QR Code To Configure App Settings field, and the runtime app user can use either the Settings screen or a QR code to configure the mobile app.
  • Off - The runtime app user can use only the QR code to configure the mobile app settings.

Allow File Download From eForms To Mobile Device
Description:
Specifies whether the runtime app user can download a file from an eForm in the AgilePoint NX Mobile App.
Allowed Values:
  • On - Runtime app users can download files from eForms to the mobile device.
  • Off - Files attached to eForms can not be downloaded to a mobile device.
