Runtime App User

Runtime app users are the human consumers of the AgilePoint NX app. Different apps can have different users. The access to specific apps and specific functionality within an app can be configured with the application permission framework.

Form user

Function:
A form user is a person who uses an eForm or AgilePoint NX application at runtime.

In a process-based app, a form user is a type of process participant.

Permissions:

Anonymous form user

Function:
An anonymous form user is a person who completes an anonymous form.
Permissions:
  • The same permissions as a form user, except that an anonymous form user can complete the form without authenticating AgilePoint NX.

Mobile app user

Function:
A mobile app user is a person using an application on a mobile device, including mobile apps that are created with the Mobile App Accelerator.

Process Initiators

Function:
A process initiator is a participant who can start a process instance.
Permissions:
  • Launch a specified process-based app.

Page Viewer

Function:
A page viewer is a user or group who can see a page, but can not add or delete the page, in Page Builder.
Permissions:
  • View a specified page.

Report Viewers

Function:
A report viewer is a user or group who can see the application data in an eForm report view for a specified app.
Permissions:
  • See the specified application data in the eForm report view.
