Configure the Skype for Business Approval AgileConnector

To configure the Skype for Business Approval AgileConnector, ​do the procedure in this topic.

Prerequisites

How to Start

  1. On the AgilePoint Server machine, in Windows Explorer, right-click the file (AgilePoint Server installation folder) C:\Program Files\AgilePoint\AgilePoint Server \WCFConfigurationUtility.exe, and click Run as Administrator.
  2. On the AgilePoint Server Manager screen, in the left pane, select your AgilePoint Server instance.
  3. Click Open Server Configuration Open Server Configuration icon.
  4. On the AgilePoint Configuration screen, click the Extensions tab.
  5. On the Extensions tab, select SkypeforBusinessApproval.
  6. Click Configure.
  7. On the Skype for Business Approval AgileConnector screen, click the Skype for Business Settings tab.

Procedure

  1. On the Skype for Business Settings tab, complete these fields as necessary.
    Field Name Definition

    Application Filter
    Function:
    Filters the processes based on their application names.

    The messaging service is enabled on the process templates identified in this field.

    Accepted Values:
    One or more valid application names.

    Multiple application names must be separated with a semicolon (;).

    Default Value:
    None

    Sign In Address
    Function:
    Specifies the e-mail address for the Skype for Business account.
    Accepted Values:
    A valid email address.
    Default Value:
    None

    Sign In Domain
    Function:
    Specifies the domain name for the Skype for Business account used by AgilePoint Server.
    Accepted Values:
    A valid domain name.
    Default Value:
    None

    Sign In Password
    Function:
    The password for the authentication account.
    Accepted Values:
    An alphanumeric string that represents a password.
    Default Value:
    None

    Send Task Assignment Notifications to Skype for Business
    Function:
    Specifies that the Skype for Business Approval AgileConnector sends the task assignment notification to the participants via Skype for Business.
    Accepted Values:
    • Selected - Sends a task assignment notification via Skype for Business.
    • Deselected - No task assignment notification is sent.
