Configure Maximum Session Allowed for Activity screen

Configures the maximum number of sessions for an activity in a process instance. If an activity runs more times than the maximum sessions, the process is Suspended.

How to Start

Do one of these:
- Create a Process-Based Application.
- Open a process-based application.
On the Application Explorer screen, do one of these:
- Open a Process.
- Create a Process.
Click Properties > Agile Properties .
On the Properties screen, in Maximum Session field, click the Ellipses button.

Process Name	Function: Shows a unique, technical name for your process. Accepted Values: Read only.
Maximum Session Allowed	Function: Specifies the maximum number of sessions for an activity in a activity. The purpose of limiting the number of sessions for an activity is to prevent a condition where one or more activities run in an infinite loop. Accepted Values: Default - Uses the default (50) maximum sessions for the activities in your process. This is the only setting available in AgilePoint OnDemand (public cloud). Custom - Specifies the maximum number of sessions for an activity. Unlimited - Lets activities in the process run an unlimited number of times. Default Value: Default
