Update Parent Process

An AgilePart that can update the values of custom attributes in a parent process based on the value of the custom attribute in a subprocess.

Navigation

In AgilePoint Envision, open a process template.
Navigate to the Premier Extension stencil.
On the Premier Extension stencil, drag the Update Parent Process AgileShape, and drop it on the process template.
To view the entire list of properties, in the Design Tasks pane, click Show Properties.

Properties for This AgileShape

Field Name	Definition
Attributes	Opens the Following Window: Attributes of Parent Process Window Purpose of this Window: Associates a custom attribute in the parent process with a value in the schema of the child process.
ParentProcessID	Definition: Specifies the Process ID of a process which custom process attributes need to be updated. Allowed Values: The process ID of the parent process. Default Value: $ParentProcessID Custom Attributes: Yes
