Attributes of Parent Process Window

Associates a custom attribute in the parent process with a value in the schema of the child process. (The child process is the one where this window is configured.)



Navigation

  1. In AgilePoint Envision, open a process template.
  2. Navigate to the Premier Extension stencil.
  3. On the Premier Extension stencil, drag the Update Parent Process AgileShape, and drop it on the process template.
  4. To view the entire list of properties, in the Design Tasks pane, click Show Properties.
  5. On the Attributes field, click the Ellipses button.

Add

Function:
Adds a custom attribute.

Schema

Opens the Following Window:
Select XPath from Attributes Window
Purpose of this Window:
Enables you to select a schema node from the XML schema for your process.

To activate the Schema button, select the row you want.

Name

Definition:
Specifies the name of the custom attribute to update.

For the AgileShape to be functional, you must ensure that on the Initial Attributes Configuration Window of the SubProcess AgileShape, the This sub process will share custom attributes with parent process option is deselected.

Allowed Values:
A parent process' custom attribute.

You can also use the XML metadata associated with the process.

Custom Attributes:
Yes

Value

Definition:
The value in the child process to associate with the custom attribute in the parent process.
Allowed Values:
XML metadata defined for the sub process.
Default Value:
System.String - Indicates that AgilePoint system accepts the values as String data type only. In itself, this is not a valid value.
Custom Attributes:
Yes

Remove

Function:
Deletes the selected row from the Attributes of Parent Process list.
