Adding or Modifying BPMN Properties for an AgileShape

Each AgileShape includes an optional set of properties for the BPMN standard. These are the same properties included with the AgileShape's associated BPMN shape in Visio.

To add or modify the BPMN properties for an AgileShape, do the following.

Prerequisites

Navigation

  1. In Envision, open your process model.
  2. Select the AgileShape you want to work with.
  3. If the Design Tasks menu is not displayed in right pane, click Design Tasks.

Instructions

  1. In Envision, on the Design Tasks menu, click BPMN.
  2. In the BPMN properties list, complete the property values as required.

Field Definitions

Field Name Definition
AdHoc

This specifies whether the sub-process is ad hoc.

From

The source of the assignment.

Assignments

An expression that determines the assignments for an activity.

To

The destination of the assignment.

Assign Time

Specifies at what point during an activity the assignment occurs.

Categories

Categories for purposes such as reporting and analysis.

Completion Quantity

The number of tokens that will be generated down the sequence flow.

Correlation

The correlation set.

Documentation

Documentation for the object.

Event Type

The type of event.

Exclusive Type

The exclusive type for the gateway.

Expression Body

A mathematical expression.

Expression Language

A language that defines the syntax for the expression.

Gateway Type

Specifies the behavior of the gateway.

IORules

An expression that defines the relationship between one input set and one output set.

IsForCompensation

Specifies whether or not a compensation can be performed after the process has completed normally.

Loop Type

The loop type.

Marker Visible

Specifies whether a marker is visible in the gateway.

Name

The property name.

Performers

The human resources that will be performing the task.

Properties

Properties for use within the processing of the activity.

Start Quantity

The number of tokens that must arrive from a single sequence flow before the activity can begin.

Status

The status of an activity.

SubProcess Type

The sub-process type.

Task Type

The task type.

Trigger

The trigger type.

Type

The property type.
