Text File Writer

An AgilePart that extracts some or all of the content of a process to save in a file in a UNC or FTP folder.

Navigation

In AgilePoint Envision, open a process template.
Navigate to the Miscellaneous stencil.
On the Miscellaneous stencil, drag the Text File Writer AgileShape, and drop it on the process template.
To view the entire list of properties, in the Design Tasks pane, click Show Properties.

Properties for This AgileShape

Field Name	Definition
Configuration	Opens the Following Window: Opens one of the following windows, depending upon the settings configured in the LocationType field: Text File Writer Configuration Window - UNC Tab - Sets up text file storage options for in a UNC destination. Text File Writer Configuration Window - FTP Tab - Sets up text file storage options for in an FTP destination.
LocationType	Definition: Determines the type of the location for storing the text file. Allowed Values: FTP - Uses the FTP path to store the text file. UNC - Uses the UNC path to store the text file. Default Value: UNC Example: UNC - \\myserver\myshare\path\myfile.txt FTP - //myserver/myshare/path/myfile.txt
