Adding Participants to an Activity

When you create an activity using an AigleWork, you must add participants — the people who are required to complete the task.

Navigation

  1. In AgilePoint Envision, open a process template.
  2. Navigate to the Generic BPM stencil.
  3. Drag any AgileWork, and drop it on the process template.
  4. To view the entire list of properties, in the Design Tasks pane, click Show Properties.

Instructions

  1. In the Participants field, click Add Participant.
  2. On the Participants Window, to select the participants you want complete the following fields as required:

    Name

    Definition:
    The Participants for an activity.
    Allowed Values:
    In the Name field, click the right arrow (>) to select the type of participant you want to add. Then follow the instructions to add the type of participant of your choice.

    To specify multiple participants, separate the user names with a semicolon (;).

    Default Value:
    None
    Custom Attributes:
    Yes

    Data Binding

    Definition:
    Specifies a data field (such as a schema element or custom attribute) used to evaluate the condition. For more information, see Data Binding.
    Note: On the Participants window, this field is not available for Generic process models.
    Allowed Values:
    A valid data binding expression. This could be a custom attribute name or an xpath to a schema element.

    Yes
  3. Click OK.
