Why Does an Error Occur During Save or Check In a Process?


In the Process Builder, when you click Save Save icon or Save and Check In Save and Check In icon, this error shows:

Generating image of the process model is taking too long. Please try again. If issue persists, contact AgilePoint Support.

  • This issue can have more than one cause.

Internet Explorer Configuration Problem


Internet Explorer is not configured correctly on the AgilePoint Server machine.



To configure Internet Explorer, do this procedure.

  1. On the AgilePoint Server machine, open Internet Explorer.
  2. Click Tools.
  3. Click Internet Options.
  4. In the Internet Options screen, click Advanced tab.
  5. Deselect these options:
    • Check for publisher's certificate revocation
    • Check for server certificate revocation
  6. Click Apply.
  7. If you do this procedure and the problem continues, do this:
    1. On the AgilePoint Server machine, download and extract the files in the Downloads section.
    2. In the SVGToPng folder, double-click SVGToPng.exe.
    3. On the SVG to PNG Converter screen, in the SVG File Path field, click the Ellipses (...) button and open the SVG file in the sample svg folder.
    4. Click Start
    5. If an error message shows in the text box of the SVG to PNG Converter screen, it is probably caused by an isue in your environment. Contact your system administrator to help you fix the issue.
  8. Restart the service for your AgilePoint Server instance.
