Creates an encrypted version of the password for the AgilePoint System Account in AgilePoint NX Portal.

How to Start

  1. On the Portal installation machine, open the folder (NX Portal installation folder) C:\Program Files\AgilePoint\AgilePointWebApplication\AgilePointPortal\bin.
  2. Right-click the file AgilePoint.Portal.EncryptionUtil.exe, and click Run as Administrator.

Fields

Domain
Function:
The authentication domain for the AgilePoint System Account.
Accepted Values:
An alphanumeric string with no spaces that represents an authentication domain in your environment.

User Name
Function:
Specifies the user name for the AgilePoint System Account.
Accepted Values:
A valid user name.
Default Value:
None

Password
Function:
The password for the authentication account.
Accepted Values:
An alphanumeric string that represents a password.
Default Value:
None

Validate
Function:
Makes sure the credentials exist for a user, and then creates the encrypted password value.

Encrypted Password
Function:
Shows the password in encrypted form.
Accepted Values:
Read only.
Default Value:
None

Copy to Clipboard
Function:
Saves or copies the encrypted password to the clipboard on your machine.
