Configure the AgilePoint Custom Settings for the AgilePoint NX App for Salesforce

When you add the AgilePoint NX App for Salesforce from the Salesforce AppExchange, a new custom settings called AgilePoint NX Configuration is added to your Salesforce environment.

Prerequisites

Good to Know

  • By default, the settings are configured to connect to the AgilePoint NX trial environment. You must change the Server Instance URL in the configuration if you want to change your AgilePoint NX tenant.
  • The AgilePoint NX settings must be applied at the organizational level.
  • If you change any of the setting field names, for example, Remote Site Name, to a different name, the app will not work.

How to Start

  1. Open your Salesforce tenant where the AgilePoint NX App for Salesforce is installed.
  2. Click Setup Setup icon > Build > Develop > Custom Settings.
  3. For the AgilePoint NX, click Manage.

Procedure

  1. Set your AgilePoint NX custom settings.

    Function:
    Specifies the REST URL for your virtual AgilePoint server.

    Accepted Values:
    A valid REST server instance URL.
    Default Value:
    https://trialas1.nxone.com/AgilePointServer

    This is the value for the AgilePoint NX App for Salesforce trial environment.

    Example:
    • Trial environment - https://trialas1.nxone.com/AgilePointServer
    • Production environment - https://prodas1.nxone.com/AgilePointServer

      The domain name for the production environment changes based on the configuration of your environment. For more information, refer to Find your AgilePoint Server Instance REST URL.

    CDN Location
    Function:
    Specifies the AgilePoint CDN URL for the AgilePoint NX App for Salesforce resources and content.
    Accepted Values:
    https://nxcdn2.azureedge.net/
    Default Value:
    https://nxcdn2.azureedge.net/

    Debug
    Function:
    Specifies whether to enable AgilePoint logs for Salesforce. The debug logs are written and stored in AgilePoint NX.
    Accepted Values:
    • true - Enables Salesforce app logs.
    • false - Disables Salesforce app logs.
    Default Value:
    false

    IsSandbox
    Function:
    Specifies whether the current Salesforce environment is a sandbox or production environment.
    Accepted Values:
    • true - The Salesforce environment is a sandbox environment.
    • false - The Salesforce environment is a production environment.
    Default Value:
    false

    eForms Location
    Function:
    Specifies the name of the Visualforce page. AgilePoint eForm opens in this Visualforce page.
