Change the AgilePoint NX App for Salesforce Configuration from Trial to Production

When you change your AgilePoint NX App for Salesforce license from a trial to production environment, you must also change the URLs the app uses to connect to the virtual AgilePoint Server. To change the trial environment URLs to production URLs, do the procedure in this topic.

Prerequisites

AgilePoint NX App for Salesforce is installed.
You must sign in to Salesforce as an administrator.
You must have the production Server Instance URL and Remote Site URL.
For more information, refer to Find Your AgilePoint Service URL in AgilePoint NX.

Good to Know

By default, the settings are configured to connect to the AgilePoint NX trial environment.
The AgilePoint NX settings must be applied at the organizational level.
If you change any of the setting field names, for example, Remote Site Name, to a different name, the app will not work.

How to Start

Open your Salesforce tenant where the AgilePoint NX App for Salesforce is installed.

Procedure

To configure the AgilePoint NX remote site settings, do this procedure.

Click Setup > Administer > Security Controls > Remote Site Settings.
For the AgilePoint NX settings, click Edit.

In the Remote Site URL field, set the production base REST URL for your virtual AgilePoint Server machine.

Production environment - https://prodas1.nxone.com

Click Save.

To configure the AgilePoint NX custom settings, do this procedure.

Click Setup > Build > Develop > Custom Settings.
For the AgilePoint NX, click Manage.

In the Server Instance URL field, set the production REST URL for your virtual AgilePoint Server instance.
