I Can Not Sign In to AgilePoint NX OnDemand as an External User in Microsoft Azure Active Directory or Microsoft 365
Symptoms
When you sign in to AgilePoint NX OnDemand as an external Microsoft Azure Active Directory or Microsoft 365 user, this error shows:
Additional technical information: Correlation ID: 0324d2f7-2a4f-4e7a-8768-ab73817c5c4e Timestamp: 2016-05-14 20:36:14Z AADSTS50020: User account xxxx@xxxx.com' from identity provider 'live.com' does not exist in tenant 'yyyyy' and cannot access the application '76da2944-23d5-4168-88b6-15cf3e6cde34' in that tenant. The account needs to be added as an external user in the tenant first. Sign out and sign in again with a different Azure Active Directory user account.
Cause
AgilePoint NX is a multi-tenant platform. Microsoft gives this limitation for Azure Active Directory external users:
External users can not consent to multi-tenant applications in directories outside of their home directory.
Resolution
- A Administrator must create you a native AgilePoint NX account.
- Once you have an AgilePoint NX account, you can Sign In with an AgilePoint ID.
