Hiding Menu Options in the SharePoint Task List

You can hide options in the SharePoint Task List menu. This is the drop-down menu associated with a task in the Task List. To hide menu options in the SharePoint Task List, do the following.

Prerequisites

AgilePoint SharePoint Integration.
SharePoint Task List installed.

Navigation

In SharePoint, navigate to the Task List Web Part.
On the Web Part window, click the Arrow button, and then click Edit Web Part. The Arrow button appears only when you move the pointer over the Web Part window.
The navigation for this task varies, depending upon your SharePoint version and the SharePoint settings in your local environment. For more information, see the documentation for SharePoint.
In Data View Properties, click AgilePoint Columns.
In the Hide TaskList Action Menu Entry field, click the Ellipses button.

Instructions

In the Text Editor window, enter the menu item names that you do not want to display.
You must enter the names exactly as they appear in the task menu.

You can enter more than one name, separated by semicolons (;) — for example, View Process;Cancel Process.
