Select XPath from Attributes Window

Enables you to select a schema node from the XML schema for your process.

Prerequisites

The XML metadata or process attribute you want to use must already be created for the process template.

In AgilePoint Envision, open a process template.
Navigate to the appropriate stencil.
On the specific stencil, drag the AgileShape that needs to use XML metadata or process attributes, and drop it on the process template.
To view the entire list of properties, in the Design Tasks pane, click Show Properties.
On the respective field/configuration window, do one of the following, as appropriate:
- Type the characters ${ in the property box.
- Click the Ellipses button.
- Click the Schema button.

Field Name	Definition
Schema	Definition: Displays the XML metadata associated with the process in a tree-view structure. Allowed Values: Read only. Click to select the XML node you want to use.
XPath	Definition: Displays the XPath of the selected node. Allowed Values: Read only. Example: /pd:my/pd:empName
DataType	Definition: Displays the data type of the selected node. Allowed Values: Read only.
Process Attributes	Definition: Displays the process attributes associated with the process in a tree-view structure. Allowed Values: Read only. Click to select the process attribute you want to use.
OK	Function: Completes the task and inserts the selected metadata or attribute in the place where this window was invoked. Note the following: First, you must select the metadata or attribute you want, and then click OK. You can select only one metadata or attribute at a time.
