Add To Quick Launch screen (Modern, Microsoft 365)

Adds a form or view of an app to the Quick Launch menu in Modern Work Center. You can add the apps that are most used to the Quick Launch menu for easy access.

Background and Setup

Prerequisites

  • You must have the Create, Update, Remove Custom Views and Quick Launch access right to add a form or view to the Quick Launch menu.

Text For Quick Launch Menu

Description:
Specifies the name that shows for the form or view on the Quick Launch tab.
Allowed Values:
One line of text (a string).

Accepted:

  • Letters
  • Numbers
  • Spaces
Default Value:
None

Views

Description:
Specifies the form or view to show on the Quick Launch tab.
Allowed Values:
A form or view name from the list.
Default Value:
None

Show View For These Groups

Function:
Specifies a list of groups to whom to show the form or view on the Quick Launch tab.
Allowed Values:
One or more group names from the list.
Default Value:
None

Open In New Tab

Description:
Specifies whether to open the form or view in a new tab.
Allowed Values:
  • On - The form or view opens in a new tab.
  • Off - The form or view opens in a same tab.
Default Value:
Off

Add

Function:
Adds a form or view to the Quick Launch tab.
