Video: Mobile App Accelerator

Prerequisites

AgilePoint NX OnDemand (public cloud), or AgilePoint NX PrivateCloud or AgilePoint NX OnPremises v7.0 or higher.

How to Start

On the Home screen, click Settings > Default App Settings.

Company Details tab

Specifies mobile app user's organization details.

Fields

Field Name	Definition
Company Name	Description: Specifies the name of the mobile app user's organization. Allowed Values: One line of text (a string). Accepted: Letters Numbers Spaces Default Value: None
Company Website	Description: Specifies the URL of the mobile app user's organization website. Allowed Values: A valid URL of the website. Default Value: None
Company Support Email	Description: Specifies the mobile app user's organization customer support e-mail address to contact. Allowed Values: One line of text (a string) in email address format. Default Value: None
Company Info Email	Description: Specifies the mobile app user's organization e-mail address for information. Allowed Values: One line of text (a string) in email address format. Default Value: None
Copyright Info	Description: Specifies the copyright information of the mobile app user's organization. Allowed Values: One line of text (a string). Accepted: Letters Numbers Spaces Default Value: None
Reset	Description: Deletes the changes and restores the default settings for the Default App Settings configuration.
Save	Function: Saves the changes for the Default App Settings configuration.

Authentication tab

Specifies the authentication details of authentication provider that is applicable for your custom mobile app.

Fields

Select Authentication Providers for Your Mobile App	Description: Specifies the authentication providers for your custom mobile app. Allowed Values: Active Directory AgilePoint ID IdentityServer Okta Salesforce Microsoft Azure Active Directory / Microsoft 365 Microsoft Azure Active Directory / Microsoft 365 (China) For information about how to configure each authentication type, refer to Authentication. Default Value: AgilePoint ID Limitations: Amazon Cognito authentication is available in these releases: AgilePoint NX PrivateCloud or AgilePoint NX OnPremises v8.0 Software Update 1 or higher Okta and IdentityServer authentication are available in these releases: AgilePoint NX PrivateCloud or AgilePoint NX OnPremises v7.0 Software Update 1 or higher PingFederate authentication is available in these releases: AgilePoint NX PrivateCloud or AgilePoint NX OnPremises v7.0 Software Update 2 or higher
Server Instance URL (REST)	Description: Specifies the REST AgilePoint Service URL for your tenant. For more information, refer to Find Your AgilePoint Service URL in AgilePoint NX. Allowed Values: A valid AgilePoint service URL. Default Value: None
Reset	Description: Deletes the changes and restores the default settings for the Default App Settings configuration.
Save	Function: Saves the changes for the Default App Settings configuration.

App List tab

Specifies the AgilePoint NX apps for the custom mobile app.

Prerequisites

Download a JSON file that contains a list of AgilePoint NX apps that you want to import to Mobile App Accelerator.
For more information, refer to How Do I Export a List of Applications?.

Fields

Field Name	Definition
Select File	Function: Selects your JSON file that contains a list of AgilePoint NX apps to import.
Show	Description: Shows the list of AgilePoint NX apps. Allowed Values: Read only.
NX App	Description: Shows the name of AgilePoint NX apps from the imported file. Allowed Values: Read only.
Clear List	Function: Deletes the list of AgilePoint NX apps imported for the custom mobile app.
Reset	Description: Deletes the changes and restores the default settings for the Default App Settings configuration.
Save	Function: Saves the changes for the Default App Settings configuration.

Menu Options tab

Specifies the features to include in the custom mobile app.

Fields

Field Name	Definition
Menu Options	Description: Shows the default name for a menu, and lets you specify a different name that shows in the Dashboard of your custom mobile app. Allowed Values: My Apps - Specifies a different name for the My Apps menu on the Dashboard of your custom mobile app. My Tasks - Specifies a different name for the My Tasks menu on the Dashboard of your custom mobile app. Outbox - Specifies a different name for the Outbox menu on the Dashboard of your custom mobile app. Team Tasks - Specifies a different name for the Team Tasks menu on the Dashboard of your custom mobile app. Processes I Started - Specifies a different name for the Processes I Started menu on the Dashboard of your custom mobile app. Processes I've Worked - Specifies a different name for the Process I've Worked menu on the Dashboard of your custom mobile app. Delegations - Specifies a different name for the Delegation menu on the Dashboard of your custom mobile app. Settings - Specifies a different name for the Settings menu on the Dashboard of your custom mobile app. Help - Specifies a different name for the Help menu on the Dashboard of your custom mobile app. About - Specifies a different name for the About menu on the Dashboard of your custom mobile app.
Enable	Description: Specifies whether to show the features in the Dashboard of your custom mobile app. Allowed Values: Yes - Shows the features in the Dashboard of your custom mobile app. No - Does not show the features in the Dashboard of your custom mobile app. Default Value: None
Reset	Description: Deletes the changes and restores the default settings for the Default App Settings configuration.
Save	Function: Saves the changes for the Default App Settings configuration.

Styling tab

Specifies the menu color and button color for the custom mobile app.

Select Styling to be Applied	Description: Specifies a style for your custom mobile app. Allowed Values: Blue - Specifies a blue color for the menus and buttons in the custom mobile app. Orange - Specifies an orange color for the menus and buttons in the custom mobile app. Green - Specifies a green color for the menus and buttons in the custom mobile app. Red - Specifies a red color for the menus and buttons in the custom mobile app. Custom - Specifies custom colors for the menus and buttons in the custom mobile app. Default Value: Blue
Reset	Description: Deletes the changes and restores the default settings for the Default App Settings configuration.
Save	Function: Saves the changes for the Default App Settings configuration.

Upload Image > Android tab

Specifies the branding for your Android custom mobile app.

Fields

Field Name	Definition
App Logo	Description: Specifies the logo image for the custom mobile app. Allowed Values: To select your app logo image, click the Select File button.
App Icon	Description: Specifies the icon image for your custom mobile app. Allowed Values: To select your app icon image, click the Select File button.
Background Image	Description: Specifies the background image for your Android custom mobile app. Allowed Values: To select the background image, click the Select File button.
Reset	Description: Deletes the changes and restores the default settings for the Default App Settings configuration.
Save	Function: Saves the changes for the Default App Settings configuration.

Upload Image > iOS tab

Specifies the branding for the iOS custom mobile app.

Field Name	Definition
App Icon	Description: Specifies the icon image for your custom mobile app. Allowed Values: To select your app icon image, click the Select File button.
Splash Screen	Description: Specifies the splash screen image for your iOS custom mobile app. Allowed Values: To select your splash screen image, click the Select File button.
Reset	Description: Deletes the changes and restores the default settings for the Default App Settings configuration.
Save	Function: Saves the changes for the Default App Settings configuration.

Notification List tab

Specifies e-mail addresses to receive a notification when the build is ready for the custom mobile app.

Enter A List Of Email Addresses To Get Notification When The Build Is Ready	Description: Specifies one or more e-mail addresses to receive a notification when your custom mobile app is complete. Allowed Values: A list of email addresses, separated by commas (,). Default Value: None
Reset	Description: Deletes the changes and restores the default settings for the Default App Settings configuration.
Save	Function: Saves the changes for the Default App Settings configuration.
