How Do I Change the Credentials for AgilePoint Administrator Accounts?

This topic shows how to change the authentication credentials for AgilePoint NX administrator accounts.

Prerequisites

  • AgilePoint NX v6.0 or higher.

Good to Know

  • AgilePoint NX has several administrator accounts. However, these accounts are all unified under the concept of the AgilePoint Service Account.

For information about the various AgilePoint NX administrator accounts and administrator roles, refer to AgilePoint Administrator Types.

  • You can change many of the administrator accounts separately, such as the AgilePoint System Account administrator or SharePoint impersonator. However, these considerations apply:
    • AgilePoint recommends keeping these accounts linked (the credentials the same) unless your organization has a strong reason to separate them.
    • If you change the credentials for any AgilePoint administrator accounts, make sure the accounts keep the correct permissions.

For information about the various AgilePoint NX administrator accounts and administrator roles, refer to AgilePoint Administrator Types.

    • Some credentials, such as the AgilePoint System Account and the SharePoint impersonator account, must be changed in more than one place.
