How to Start

  1. On the Application Explorer screen, do one of these:
  2. Do one of these:
    • Add an activity:
      1. In the Process Builder, go to the Activity Library, and open the SharePoint SharePoint icon tab.
      2. On the SharePoint SharePoint icon tab, drag the Set Permission Set Permission icon activity onto your process.
    • Change an activity:
      1. In your process, double-click your activity.
  3. Click Set Permission Set Permission icon.

Procedure

  1. On the Remove Permission screen, in the SharePoint field, select your SharePoint access token.

    To create a new access token, click Add Token Add Token icon. For more information, refer to Access Token for SharePoint.

  2. Complete these fields as necessary.

    Function:
    Specifies the item for which to set the permissions.
    Accepted Values:
    • Site Collection
    • Site
    • List/Library
    • List Item
    Default Value:
    Site Collection

    Function:
    Specifies the URL for your SharePoint site.
    Accepted Values:
    A valid SharePoint site URL
    Default Value:
    None

    Function:
    Specifies the name of the SharePoint library or list.
    To Open this Field:
    1. Select List/Library or List Item.
    Accepted Values:
    A valid SharePoint library name or list name.
    Default Value:
    None
    Accepts Process Data Variables:
    Yes

    List Item ID

    Function:
    Specifies the ID of a SharePoint list item.
    To Open this Field:
    1. Select List Item.
    Accepted Values:
    The ID of your SharePoint list item.
    Default Value:
    ${ListItemID}
    Accepts Process Data Variables:
    Yes
  3. Click Participants Participants icon.
  4. On the User/Group Configuration screen, in the Permission Type List, select the type.
  5. (Optional) Search the items in the list of users or groups to narrow your results.
  6. Select the list, drag the user or group onto the Details list.
  7. Click Permission Level Permission Level icon.
  8. On the Permission Levels screen, in the Permission Levels, select the permission levels for the user or group.
