How to Start

  1. On the Application Explorer screen, do one of these:

    • Add an activity:
      1. In the Process Builder, go to the Activity Library, and open the SharePoint SharePoint icon tab.
      2. On the SharePoint SharePoint icon tab, drag the Create SharePoint List Create SharePoint List icon activity onto your process.
    • Change an activity:
      1. In your process, double-click your activity.
  3. Click Create SharePoint List Configuration Create SharePoint List Configuration icon.

Procedure

  1. To configure your settings for a new Sharepoint list, complete these fields as necessary.
    Field Name Definition

    Specifies the access token that connects to your SharePoint site.
    Accepted Values:
    A list of access tokens configured for your environment.

    Function:
    Specifies the URL for your SharePoint site.

    Specifies the name of your SharePoint list.
    Accepted Values:

    Function:
    A description of your SharePoint list.
    Accepted Values:
    One line of text that can have spaces.

    Display on Quick Launch

    Function:
    Specifies if you want to include the SharePoint list in the Quick Launch menu.
    Accepted Values:
    • Deselected - The list is not included in the Quick Launch menu.
    • Selected - The list is included in the Quick Launch menu.
    Default Value:
    Deselected

    Store List URL in Process Attribute

    Function:
    Specifies the process data variable that stores the SharePoint list URL.
    Accepted Values:
    A process data variable that accepts a URL.
    Default Value:
    None
    Accepts Process Data Variables:
    Yes
  2. If you have selected a custom list type, complete these fields as necessary.

    Column Name

    Function:
    Specifies the name of a custom SharePoint list column.
    Note: This option is available only when you select the Custom List option in the List Type field. Custom List is a built-in SharePoint list template.
    Accepted Values:
    One line of text with no spaces.
    Default Value:
    None
    Accepts Process Data Variables:
    Yes

    Column Type

    Function:
    Specifies the column type for a custom SharePoint list column.
    Note: This option is available only when you select the Custom List option in the List Type field. Custom List is a built-in SharePoint list template.
    Accepted Values:
    • Text
    • Calculated
    • Choice
    • Currency
    • Date Time
    • Lookup
    • Number
    • User
    Default Value:
    None

    Column Description

    Function:
    The free text description of a custom SharePoint list column.
    Note: This option is available only when you select the Custom List option in the List Type field. Custom List is a built-in SharePoint list template.
    Accepted Values:
    One line of text.
    Default Value:
    None
    Accepts Process Data Variables:
    Yes

    Column Required

    Function:
    Specifies whether the custom SharePoint column is required.
    Note: This option is available only when you select the Custom List option in the List Type field. Custom List is a built-in SharePoint list template.
    Accepted Values:
    • Deselected - The custom SharePoint column is not required.
    • Selected - The custom SharePoint column is mandatory.
    Default Value:
    Deselected

    Add Add icon

    Function:
    Creates a row.

    Delete Delete icon

    Function:
    Deletes the row.
