Configuring the Lync Approval AgileConnector

Prerequisites

• AgilePoint Server installed in Windows Service mode.
• Before you configure these settings, you must add the Lync Approval AgileConnector.

How to Start

1. On the AgilePoint Server machine, click Start > All Programs > AgilePoint > AgilePoint Configuration.
2. On the AgilePoint Server Configuration Tool screen, click the Extensions tab.
3. On the Extensions tab, select LyncApproval.
4. Click Configure.
5. On the Lync Approval screen, click the Lync Settings tab.

Procedure

1. On the Configure Lync Approval AgileConnector screen, complete the following fields as required.

   Field Name	Definition
   Application Filter	Definition: Filters the process template based on the application name. The messaging service is enabled on the process templates identified in this field. Allowed Values: One or more valid application names. Multiple application names must be separated with a semicolon (;). Default Value: None
   Lync Sign-In Address	Definition: Specifies the email address for the Lync account. Allowed Values: A valid email address. Default Value: None
   Lync Sign-In Domain	Definition: Specifies the domain name for the Lync account used by AgilePoint Server. Allowed Values: A valid domain name. Default Value: None
   Password	Definition: The password for the authentication account. Allowed Values: A valid password. Default Value: None
   Send Task Assignment Notifications to Lync	Definition: Specifies that the Lync Approval AgileConnector sends the task assignment notification to the participants via Lync. Allowed Values: Selected - Sends a task assignment notification via Lync. Deselected - No task assignment notification is sent. Default Value: Deselected
