Running the Upgrade Installer

To run the AgilePoint BPMS Upgrade Installer, do the following.

Prerequisites

Verify that AgilePoint v5.0, v5.0 SP1, v5.0 SP2, v5.0 SP3, or v5.0 SP4 is installed on your machines. If you are performing an upgrade following a new installation, ensure you have installed all the components on all machines first before starting the upgrade.
To find the version number for your installed AgilePoint components:
1. On the machine where your AgilePoint component is installed, in Windows navigate to Add or Remove Programs.
2. Select the AgilePoint component for which you want the version number.
3. Click the link, Click here for Support Information. The installed version appears on the pop-up window.
Applying this Service Pack will cause AgilePoint Server and other related services to restart. Ensure you perform the upgrade at times when these restarts will have minimal impact on your operations.
If you are upgrading your AgilePoint SharePoint Integration v1, permission to access the SharePoint Integration database is required for the service pack installer to automatically upgrade the changes in each AgilePoint-enabled SharePoint virtual server. If the SharePoint database is not accessible during the upgrade, see Additional Steps for SharePoint Integration v1.

On every machine with AgilePoint client or server components installed:

Once the upgrade installer has finished, complete the remaining procedures in this section. Each remaining procedure is required if you meet the prerequisites.
