SMS Service and Approval AgileConnector Configuration Window

Specifies the configuration details of the SMS Service and Approval AgileConnector.

Prerequisites

AgilePoint Server installed in Windows Service mode.
If you want to use StrikeIron SMS listener functionality, you must set up an account with StrikeIron. This is a paid account.
To register an account, visit www.strikeiron.com.
If you want to use a different SMS listener vendor, contact AgilePoint Professional Services to request a new AgileConnector.
Before configuring, you must enable the SMS Service and Approval AgileConnector.

Navigation

On the AgilePoint Server machine, click Start > All Programs > AgilePoint > AgilePoint Configuration.
On the AgilePoint Server Configuration Tool window, click the Extensions tab.
On the Extensions tab, select SMSService.
Click Configure.

Field Definitions

Field Name	Definition
Application Filter	Definition: Filters the process template based on the application name. The messaging service is enabled on the process templates identified in this field. Allowed Values: One or more valid application names. Multiple application names must be separated with a semicolon (;). Default Value: None
User ID	Definition: Specifies the user name of the StrikeIron service account. Allowed Values: A valid user name. Default Value: None Custom Attributes: No
Password	Definition: The password for the authentication account. Allowed Values: A valid password. Default Value: None
From Name in SMS Text	Definition: Specifies the name displayed in an SMS text message. Allowed Values: A single line of text. Default Value: None.
Schedule Interval	Definition: Specifies the number of minutes for the AgileConnector to wait before checking whether the task has been approved. Allowed Values: Any integer. Default Value: 1
SMS Service Provider	Definition: Specifies the name of the service provider. Allowed Values: A valid service provider name that appears in the list. If you want to use a different SMS listener vendor, contact AgilePoint Professional Services to request a new AgileConnector. Default Value: StrikeIron.
Send SMS Notification to Users about Task Assignment	Definition: Specifies that the SMS Service AgileConnector sends an SMS notification to the participants about the task assignments. Allowed Values: Selected - Sends an SMS notification to the participants. Deselected - No SMS notification is sent. Default Value: Deselected
Test	Function: Verifies whether the specified account credential is valid.
