Obtaining SMTP Server Information

AgilePoint Server uses SMTP to send email alerts and notifications. AgilePoint uses anonymous SMTP by default.

Prerequisites

These instructions do not apply to the following installation scenarios:
- AgilePoint BPMS for Azure

Collect the following information:

Field Name	Definition
SMTP Server	Definition: The URL for your SMTP email server. Allowed Values: A valid SMTP server URL.
Administrator Email	Definition: The email address for your SMTP server administrator. This email address will be used to send email notifications to participants in AgilePoint processes. You can change this email address after installation if desired. Allowed Values: A valid SMTP server administrator email address.
