Creating Web Sites for AgilePoint Components

AgilePoint requires one or more web sites to be created in IIS, depending upon the components you are installing.

If you are using AgilePoint's wizard-based automated installers for AgilePoint Genesis, AgilePoint BPMS v5.0 SP4 for .NET 4.0 or later, you have the option of allowing the installers to create these web sites for you.

However, some installers do not offer this functionality, and some organizations prefer to create their own web sites. Instructions are provided in the web based Documentation Library for these scenarios.

Prerequisites

• These instructions do not apply to the following installation scenarios:
  • AgilePoint BPMS for Azure
  • You want to allow the wizard-based installers to set up your web sites for you.

The following AgilePoint components require web sites. For most, the name and port number are optional.
