Two user accounts are required on AgilePoint Server to support each AgilePoint BPMS deployment. These user accounts should be Domain accounts with minimal privileges on the network and elevated privileges on the servers running the AgilePoint components.
Note: For most AgilePoint installations, these two accounts have the same
credentials because it helps to simplify administration.

Instructions
- Create the AgilePoint Service User Account.
This user account
is the Application Pool Identity and Service Identity
for the AgilePoint Server (e.g. APServerServiceAccount).
- The AgilePoint Service Account is used to create the database schema during AgilePoint Server installation. Therefore, the AgilePoint Service User Account must have db_owner privileges in the AgilePoint Database.
- If you are installing AgilePoint Server on a Domain Controller, this
cannot be a local administrator account.
- Create the AgilePoint System User Account.
An unrestricted
administrator of the AgilePoint system (e.g. APServerSystemAccount).
- You will enter this information during the AgilePoint Server installation when configuring AgilePoint Server.
- The AgilePoint System User Account is used to connect to the database during AgilePoint Server configuration. Therefore, the AgilePoint System User Account must have db_owner privileges in the AgilePoint Database.
- This user account will also be used to initially login to AgilePoint Enterprise Manager.
- Log into a computer with each account to verify that the account is active, and the password
is correct.
