Migrating from IIS Mode to Windows Service Mode

AgilePoint Deployment Service

The AgilePoint Deployment Service is a Windows service that runs on the AgilePoint Server machine, and provides a WCF communication channel between the server and the client.

Installing AgilePoint Deployment Services is optional. For a fresh installation and upgrade, AgilePoint Deployment Services is installed as a separate component via the AgilePoint Utilities and Other Support Files section of the installer.

To migrate AgilePoint Deployment Services, do the following.

Instructions

  1. Click Start > Run, and enter services.msc.
  2. In the Services window, right-click AgilePointDeploymentService, and click Stop.
  3. Run the Windows Service Client Utility Tool against apds.exe.config of AgilePoint Deployment Service.
  4. Start AgilePoint Deployment Service.
