When attempting to generate a web application using the AgilePoint BPM Web Application Wizard in Visual Studio on a 64 bit machine, the following error occurs:
"The program requires AgilePoint Envision (x32 bit). Please install AgilePoint Envision (x32 bit) and try again."This issue is caused by an incompatibility between Microsoft Visio 64 bit and Microsoft Visual Studio 32 bit versions. When running in 32 bit mode, Visual Studio cannot load a 64 bit application (in this case, Visio). This is required for the Web Application Wizard.
Microsoft Visual Studio is not available in 64 bit mode at this time.
If you want to run AgilePoint Envision on the same 64-bit machine as AgilePoint Developer, it is recommended that you install Microsoft Visio (and AgilePoint Envision) in 32 bit mode.
If you cannot install Visio in 32 bit mode on your machine, it is recommended that you use a VPC or a colleague's machine that does have 32 bit Visio and Visual Studio installed when you initially generate a web application using the Web Application Wizard. Then you can move the generated files to your machine and continue your work. This is a one-time event for each web application.
