Why Does Export to PDF in AgileReports Cause a "HTML Render" Error?

Symptoms

In AgileReports, when I click Export to PDF, the following error appears:

"HTML render is blank"

Cause

In AgilePoint v5.0 SP3, AgileReports must be installed in a 64-bit environment using Internet Explorer 8. (Other export options in AgileReports do not have this restriction.

This error is caused when Internet Explorer 9 is installed on the AgileReports server.

Resolution

On the AgileReports Server machine, uninstall Internet Explorer 9, and then install Internet Explorer 8.
