To install AgilePoint Service Bus, do the following.
Prerequisites
- Your system meets the minimum
system requirements for this component. For more information,
see the System Requirements Guide.
- You have completed all of the pre-installation instructions
for this component.
- The AgilePoint Service Bus component version must match the .NET version for
your machine. In particular, if you are installing the Service Bus on a SharePoint server
machine, the Service Bus must match the .NET version of SharePoint.
- Login to Windows using a user login that belongs to the local system's Administrators group.
Note: On some versions of Windows, such as
Windows Server 2012, you may need to also right-click
the Setup.exe installation file, and click
Run as Administrator.
- Download the AgilePoint Installation Package for your solution
to your local machine.
Navigation
- Open the AgilePoint installation package.
- On the Software License Agreement window, review the license agreement, and
click Accept.
- On the Destination Folder window, select the folder where you want to extract the
installation files.
- Click Install.

- Click AgilePoint Service Bus.
- Click the AgilePoint Service Bus link that is appropriate for your system:
.NET 3.5 or .NET 4.0.
The AgilePoint Service Bus component version must match the .NET version for
your machine. In particular, if you are installing the Service Bus on a SharePoint server
machine, the Service Bus must match the .NET version of SharePoint.
- On the Welcome window, click Next.
- On the Select Installation Folder window, select a destination
folder if desired.
- Click Next.
- Specify the location for your installation, and click Next.
- The installer is now ready to install the application. Click
Next to install.
- Once the Installation Complete message is displayed,
click Finish.
- Restart the machine.
This is optional, but recommended. Rarely
AgilePoint users have reported an issue with shortcuts not displaying if the
machine is not restarted. There are no other known issues if you do not restart
the machine. Windows sometimes prompts to restart, and sometimes not. This is
determined by the operating system.
