To install AgilePoint InfoPath Integration, do the following.
Note: The AgilePoint InfoPath Integration should be
installed only when client-based InfoPath forms are used in a workflow (i.e.
the AgilePoint InfoPath Integration is not required if you are implementing
browser-based forms using InfoPath Forms Services).
Note: On certain systems, installation of a newer
version of the AgilePoint InfoPath Integration component may fail if the system
already has an older version of the AgilePoint InfoPath Integration component
installed. If this occurs, it is recommended that the previous version of the
AgilePoint InfoPath Integration component be uninstalled before (re)installing
the newer version.
Note: If AgilePoint Server is not
installed on the same computer that you will be installing on, it should be
installed and running on a server that you can access via the internet from the
computer where you are installing.
- Log on to Windows using a user login that belongs to the local system's
Administrators group.
- Double-click setup.exe to run the AgilePoint installer. The AgilePoint installation window appears.
- Click the Install AgilePoint… link that is most appropriate for your system.
- Click the link for AgilePoint InfoPath Integration.
- Click Next in the AgilePoint InfoPath Integration window.
- (Optional) Enter an installation folder name. The default is: C:\Program
Files\AgilePoint\AgilePoint InfoPath Integration\
- Click Next.
- The installer is now ready to install the application. Click
Next to install.
- Once the Installation Complete message is displayed,
click Finish.
- Restart the machine.
This is optional, but recommended. Rarely
AgilePoint users have reported an issue with shortcuts not displaying if the
machine is not restarted. There are no other known issues if you do not restart
the machine. Windows sometimes prompts to restart, and sometimes not. This is
determined by the operating system.
