Creating a SharePoint Group

To create a new SharePoint group, do the following.

Prerequisites

Navigation

  1. In AgilePoint Envision, open a process template.
  2. Navigate to the SharePoint stencil.
  3. On the SharePoint stencil, drag the Create SP Group AgileShape, and drop it on the process template.
  4. To view the entire list of properties, in the Design Tasks pane, click Show Properties.
  5. On the Group Configuration field, click the Ellipses button.

Instructions

  1. On the Create Group Configuration window, complete the following required fields:
    Field Name Definition

    Site URL

    Definition:
    Specifies the URL for your SharePoint site.
    Allowed Values:
    A valid SharePoint site URL.
    Default Value:
    None
    Custom Attributes:
    Yes
    Example:
    http://mysharepoint:8000/sites/${mysite}

    Group Name

    Definition:
    The name of the SharePoint group you want.
    Allowed Values:
    A valid SharePoint group name.
    Default Value:
    None
    Custom Attributes:
    Yes

    Group Owner

    Definition:
    Specifies the name of the SharePoint user you want to be the owner of the group.
    Allowed Values:
    A user name, including the domain name, in the following format:

    [domain]\[user name]

    Default Value:
    None
    Custom Attributes:
    Yes
    Example:
    MyDomain\Administrator
