Configure Proxy Server Window

Specifies a proxy server used to connect to the web service. This bypasses the permission constraints on the local machine at runtime.



Prerequisites

  • A valid Web Service — for example a live, valid WSDL file.

Navigation

  1. In AgilePoint Envision, open a process template.
  2. Navigate to the Web Services stencil.
  3. On the Web Services stencil, drag the Web Service AgileShape, and drop it on the process template.
  4. To view the entire list of properties, in the Design Tasks pane, click Show Properties.
  5. On the Proxy field, click the Ellipses button.

Host

Definition:
Specifies the proxy server name.
Allowed Values:
A valid proxy server name.

Port

Definition:
Specifies the port number of the proxy server.
Allowed Values:
A valid port number.

Bypass on local

Definition:
Specifies whether to bypass the proxy server when the web service exists on the local network. If you select this option, the proxy server is bypassed for the local address, and the client machine connects directly to the web service.
Allowed Values:
  • Deselected - The proxy server is not bypassed.
  • Selected - The proxy server is bypassed.

Following account

Definition:
Authenticates using the credentials you specify.
Allowed Values:
  • Selected - The domain, username and password fields are enabled to fetch the input from an user.
  • Deselected - Specifies that the logon as current user (AD2008R2\Administrator) option is enabled.

Definition:
The authentication domain for the web service.
Allowed Values:
A valid domain.

Definition:
Specifies the user name for the web service.

Use AgilePoint System User at Runtime
Definition:
Specifies whether to use the AgilePoint system user account (usually the same as the AgilePoint Service account) for the action when the process is running.
Allowed Values:
  • Selected - Uses the AgilePoint system user account for the action at runtime.
  • Deselected - Uses the credentials specified on this window at runtime.

Definition:
Authenticates using the local machine's Windows user account.

This option can be used with Windows authentication only.
