Hardware Changes and AgileForms Licensing

AgileForms license keys are use an Installation ID that is specific to the original installed hardware and operating system version. If you change any hardware on the AgileForms machine — for example, if you add RAM or CPUs, or you migrate AgileForms to a new machine — or if your operating system is updated due to manual or automatic system updates, your license key will no longer work. To minimize downtime, AgilePoint recommends the following:

1. Contact AgilePoint Customer Support to acquire temporary license keys.
2. Modify your hardware.
3. Run the AgileForms activation to acquire an Installation ID for your new hardware.
4. Contact AgilePoint Support again to request new, permanent AgileForms license keys.
