Install AgileForms Server

Note: AgileForms Server cannot use dynamic load balancing and cannot be installed on a machine where NLB is in use. Therefore if AgilePoint Server is a single server installation then you can install AgileForms on either same server or a dedicated single server. However if AgilePoint Server is configured in an NLB environment, AgileForms Server cannot run on the same machine as AgilePoint Server. AgileForms installed on a dedicated single server can communicate with AgilePoint Server that is operating in an NLB mode.

Login to Windows using a user login that belongs to the local system's Administrators group.
Note: AgilePoint recommends logging in using the AgilePoint Service Account. If you use any other account to log on, the first time you open the AgileForms Server administration page after you complete the installation, a "User not found" error will appear.
Double-click setup.exe to run the AgileForms installer. The AgileForms installation window appears.
Click the Install AgileForms… link that is most appropriate for your system.
Click the link for AgileForms Server.
On the AgileForms Server window, click Next.
On the Welcome to AgileForms Server Setup Wizard window, click Next.
On the License Agreement window, read the License agreement, and click I Agree to continue. Then click Next.
On the Select Installation Folder window, select an alternate installation folder if desired, then click Next.
On the Confirm Installation window, click Next. Once the installation is complete, AgileForms WebSite Configuration dialog appears.
On the AgileForms Websites Configuration dialog box, verify the following information. When you have finished, click OK:
- AgileForms Site – The main site for AgileForms.
- Proxy Site – AgileForms proxy site.
- User Name – The user name (in the format – Domain\Username) for the AgileForms service.
- Password – The password for the AgileForms service.
Once the Installation Complete message is displayed, click Close to complete the installation.
If you see a Setup succeeded message, click OK. If you see a Setup has completed. Would you like to reboot now? message, you can click either Yes or No.
Note: Microsoft Windows (and not the AgilePoint installer) determines whether the reboot or Setup succeeded message is displayed after the installation. In most cases, choosing to not reboot does not seem to interfere with the success of the installation.

Note: If the following message appears, run the Client Utility Tool from the AgilePoint installation program: "Failed to add Service model information in [path]\web.config. Please use SVCClient Utility tool to update it before using." For more information, see Run the Windows Service Client Utility Tool.
