Setting Up a Database for AgilePoint Data Services

To set up the database for AgilePoint Data Services, do the following.

Prerequisites

These instructions apply only if you plan to install the AgilePoint Data Services, an optional component.

In Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, create a database for the AgilePoint Data Tracking.
(Optional) The AgilePoint Data Population feature provides a basic and an advanced method when setting up the Data Population configuration. For the advanced Data Population configuration, create a table that is named based on the application, and create the table columns based on the fields from the form. The Primary Key should be the Process Instance ID (type varchar). If you will be using the basic Data Population Configuration, this table is created automatically for you during the configuration.
